In order to support Environmental Social Governance (ESG) pioneers in IRAN, Swiss-Iranian Investment Forum (SIIF) has established an initiative named as “Emerging ESG Leaders Award” to honor and promote their professional efforts respecting sustainable development issues and responsible environmental, social and governance practices.
SIIF Emerging ESG Leaders Award:
SIIF has presented this annual award to an inspiring leader or global leading company by evaluating them according to ESG indicators regarding international norms and national acceptance criteria.
SIIF Award recipient will be represented as a talented leader that significantly demonstrates ESG principles in his/her business. Also, she/he will be recognized as a mentor with high potential impact to growth SDGs in future.
ESG factors, offer leaders added insight into the quality of a company's management, culture, risk profile and other characteristics. By adding this increased level of scrutiny associated with ESG analysis, SIIF Award seeks to identify ESG leaders in their industries and promote high quality sustainable businesses that are delivered superior results.
The SIIF Award is a unique, esteemed sustainability acknowledgement of these rising leaders’ talents while the public recognition encourages them to serve in even broader roles as leaders and as mentors in their communities.
Each recipient receives a Certificate of Appreciation confirmed by the forum president and board of trustees. The recipients also are given the opportunity to attend SIIF Forum events as the honorary guest and become an honorary member to the board of trustee at SIIF.
SIIF acknowledges the importance of diversity – ethnic, racial, religious, age, disability – to SIIF members and to the greater community in which we live and work.
Award Selection Criteria:
Has demonstrated leadership within her/his profession/field for 7-12 years
Has provided exposure to companies with high Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) performance relative to their sector
Has demonstrated a commitment to leaving a ESG legacy in the region; and
Lives or works in IRAN region.
Award winning procedure
• Nominations are accepted by SIIF Executive Team. Self-nominations will not be accepted.
• SIIF Award for Emerging ESG Leaders Committee, composed of SIIF board of trustee member and past award recipients, will review eligible nominations and select the recipients. |
